Delete Your Spend AI Account

If you want to delete your Spend AI account and associated personal data, you can submit a deletion request using the options below.

How to Request Account Deletion

Option 1 — From the App

  1. Open the Spend AI app.

  2. Go to Profile / Settings.

  3. Select Delete Account.

  4. Review the information shown on the confirmation screen.

  5. Confirm your account deletion request.

Option 2 — Contact QMET

If the Delete Account option is not available in your version of Spend AI, you can contact QMET using the support contact listed on the Google Play Store listing.

Please provide the email address associated with your Spend AI account so that we can identify and process your request.

Data Deleted

After your account deletion request is verified and processed, we will delete applicable account-associated data, which may include:

  • Account information

  • Profile information

  • Expense and income records

  • Categories and budgets

  • Cloud-stored transaction information

  • Other personal information associated with your account

Data That May Be Retained

Some information may be retained for a limited period where required for:

  • Legal or regulatory compliance

  • Fraud prevention and security

  • Resolving disputes

  • Financial or transaction records required by law

  • Enforcement of our legal agreements

Information retained for these purposes will be kept only for the period required by the applicable requirement and will subsequently be deleted or anonymized where applicable.

SMS Data

Spend AI may process transaction-related information derived from SMS messages on your device, subject to the permissions and functionality provided by the app.

Deleting your Spend AI account does not delete SMS messages from your device.

If transaction information derived from SMS is stored or associated with your Spend AI account, applicable account-associated data will be handled according to this deletion policy.

Processing Time

We will process verified account deletion requests within a reasonable period after receiving the request.

Account deletion may be irreversible. Once your account and associated data have been deleted, they may not be recoverable.
